MUST–IUC UCoBS Subproject 5 is set to host an Entrepreneurship Level 2 Bootcamp from 13th to 17th April 2026 at the UCoBS Board Room. The five-day bootcamp will bring together selected student innovators from university innovation hubs for an intensive entrepreneurial training experience aimed at strengthening ideas into commercially viable enterprises.
The bootcamp is part of Subproject 5’s wider commitment to increasing youth employability through skilling, innovation, experiential learning, and technology transfer. Over the years, the project has organized entrepreneurship bootcamps at the community level, in vocational institutions, and within MUST, creating practical spaces for young people to build entrepreneurial capacity and innovation skills.
For this upcoming Entrepreneurship Level 2 bootcamp, the selected participants were drawn from university innovation hubs, including CAMTech Uganda, PHARMBIOTRAC, and MUCOSA. The participants are youth innovators already working on promising ideas and early-stage ventures with potential for growth and commercialization.
The selected participants are students with innovative, scalable ideas or early-stage startups seeking to develop those ideas into commercially viable enterprises. Throughout the bootcamp, participants will engage in practical sessions focused on enterprise mapping, customer and market research, financial management, sales and marketing, team and leadership, and pitching. The program is designed to support teams in refining their business models, better understanding their target market, strengthening internal team capacity, and improving their readiness for growth and market engagement.
The entrepreneurship Level 2 Bootcamp is expected to offer a valuable platform for deeper learning, idea refinement, and practical business development. By focusing on student innovators already beyond the ideation stage, the training will help participants move closer to commercialization while equipping them with the tools to build stronger, more sustainable ventures.
As MUST–IUC UCoBS Subproject 5 continues to champion youth innovation and entrepreneurship, the upcoming bootcamp reflects the project’s continued effort to nurture a new generation of job creators, innovators, and solution-driven young leaders within the university and beyond.
