Empowering Youth: A New Chapter in Entrepreneurship at Nyamitanga Technical Institute
In an exciting development, the MUST UCOBS Project 5 hosted a transformative Youth Entrepreneurship Bootcamp at Nyamitanga Technical Institute in Mbarara City from April 29th to May 3rd, 2024. This event marked the project's first venture into nurturing young entrepreneurs at the technical institute level.
The boot camp's success inspired the creation of a Youth Entrepreneurship Club at the institute, a groundbreaking initiative aimed at fostering the innovative ideas generated during the event. With the support of the administration, led by Madam Beatrice Nimusiima and Mr. Kakuru James the deputy principle, and guidance from Dr. Rennie Bakashaba and Dr. Manasseh Tumuhimbise, the club promises to be a hub of creativity and entrepreneurial growth.
On June 13th, 2024, the first executive team was nominated to lead the club, setting the stage for a dynamic future of innovation and business development. This initiative represents a significant step towards empowering young minds and building a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem at Nyamitanga Technical Institute.
