Subproject 5 on Exhibition at Kihumuro!

Today, Subproject 5 – MUST/IUC UCoBS participated in the exhibition held during the official opening of the Faculty of Computing and Informatics building at Mbarara University of Science and Technology, Kihumuro Campus.

The exhibition showcased outstanding youth-led innovations under our project’s mission to promote employability through skilling, innovation, and experiential learning.

Two of our incredible beneficiaries stood out:

Spark Herbal Toothpaste – A youth-led startup creating affordable, fluoride-free herbal toothpaste using natural, locally sourced ingredients to promote oral health.

Nova-Eco Packaging – An eco-conscious enterprise producing biodegradable packaging alternatives from agricultural waste, addressing the challenge of plastic pollution.

We were deeply honored by the presence of Hon. Molly Asiimwe, Woman MP for Rwampara District, who encouraged and celebrated the spirit of youth innovation.
