Entrepreneurship Level One Bootcamp At Rwentanga Farm Institute-Mbarara District

Empowering a next generation of Agri-prenuers!

We are excited to announce the upcoming Entrepreneurship Bootcamp, hosted by MUST/IUC UCoBS Sub-project 5, set to take place from May 26th to 30th, 2025, at Rwentanga Farm Institute.

The 5-day bootcamp is designed to equip students especially those pursuing certificate courses at Rwentanga with practical, hands-on skills in entrepreneurship and innovation. With a strong emphasis on experiential learning, the program will guide participants through critical topics including:

✅ Entrepreneurial Fundamentals

✅ Idea Generation

✅ The 50,000 UGX Business Challenge

✅ Design-Thinking

✅ Prototyping

✅ Pitch Preparation

Participants will engage in interactive sessions, problem-solving challenges, and team-based activities that stimulate creativity and business acumen. The highlight will be the 50,000 UGX Challenge, where students will apply what they’ve learned to develop and test real-life business solutions with limited resources.

The bootcamp is part of a broader effort under the MUST/IUC–UCoBS partnership to promote youth employability through innovation, skilling, and technology transfer in southwestern Uganda. It is organized in collaboration with StartHub Africa, VUB, Howest University of Applied Sciences, Uganda Industrial Research Institute (UIRI), and other partners.

The event will be covered live by Kreative Digital Media to ensure broader visibility and community engagement.
