In a bold and refreshing blend of nature and innovation, MUST's IUC-UCoBS Project is convening a transformative Business Planning Bootcamp from April 22–25, 2025, hosted within the inspiring surroundings of Lake Mburo National Park. This unique initiative is a collaborative synergy between Project 1 and Project 5, tailored to drive youth-led development and cross-disciplinary innovation.
The bootcamp's focus is the development of a business plan for ACCCA (Ankole Cultural Cow Conservation Association)—an initiative that aims to preserve the cultural and ecological value of the Ankole long-horned cattle through sustainable enterprise.
This initiative aligns with Project One’s focus on conservation, environmental restoration, and natural resource governance, and Project Five’s goal of enhancing youth employability through skilling, innovation, and experiential learning.
Participants from MUST and Bishop Stuart University will engage in hands-on sessions in strategy development, market research, and guided planning, supported by mentors and expert facilitators. The sessions will be streamed live by Kreative Digital Media, enabling wider engagement.
Supported by partners including VLIR-UOS, VUB, AP University and Howest, this bootcamp reflects a commitment to empowering youth as job creators and environmental stewards—merging tradition with innovation to build sustainable futures.
